The area 'A' of  sector with radius R, and arc length L can be written as

A=RL/2

If kite is sector of a circle of radius, R 15 and perimeter of kite is54cm  

the kite have two equal side which is equal to radius R=15cm

the remaining part is  length of arc, L = 54 - (1 x 2) =54 - 30 = 24cm is the length of arc.

Therefore area of sector, A = RL/2=(15 x 24)/2 180cm^2
