a ladder touches the wall 4m above the ground the distance b/w foot of the ladder and wall is 3m then find the length of the ladder

Use Pythagoras as the wall is perpendicular to ground and Ur answer would be 5

by pythagoras theorem,

3^2 + 4^2 = (length of ladder)^2

9 +16 = (length of ladder)^2

25 = (length of ladder)^2

5 = length of ladder

Now,

the length of ladder is 5m
