A lady after purchasing the groceries asked for plastic bag from the shopkeeper. When the shopkeeper refused, she argued and had a tiff with the shopkeeper. Another lady who saw all this, advised her to carry a cloth/jute bag next time. (a) Why did the shopkeeper refuse plastic bag?
(b) What value is shown by the shopkeeper?
(c) How will cloth bag/jute bag help the environment?

The shopkeeper refused to give her a plastic bag because plastic is not bio-degradable and will be pollute many places. The shopkeeper shows his caring for the environment. A cloth bag will help the environment because it can be used many times, and is not disposed after one use, like a plastic bag.
