A LAMP CONSUMES 500 J OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY IN 20 s . WHAT IS POWER OF THE LAMP . ALSO FIND ELECTRICAL ENERGY CONSUMED IN UNITS IF THE LAMP OPERATES FOR DAILY 15 DAYS.

Power = energy/time
Power =500/20
Power =25 W
therefore the power of the lamp = 25 W
Now,
25 W in kW = 0.025 kW
Therefore the electrical energy consumed in 15 days,
15 days in hours = 360 hr
So energy consumed in units = 0.025*360 = 9 units
Therefore the answer is 9 units….
