A lamp of resistance 20 Ω and a conductor of resistance 8 Ω are
connected with a battery of 8 V in series. Calculate the :
(a) total resistance in the circuit
(b) current flowing through the circuit

total resistance...

since they are connected in series R = R1+R2

R= 20 +8 =28

Total current flowing in the circuit

= V = I REALLY

8 = I × 28

8/28= I

FIND THE current ....that's the answer

1.total resistance is 28 ohm

2.total current is 4/14 ampere
