a lane, 150m long and 9m wide, is to be paved with bricks, each measuring 22.5cm by 7.5 .Find the number of bricks required?

no of bricks =(15000*900)/(22.5*7.5)=80000

area of the lane =l*b
=150*9=1350m sq.
area of the brick =l*b
=22.5*7.5=168.75 m sq.
To find no. of bricks required
=1350/168.75=8
Therefore 8 bricks are required.
