For a lane

Length  =180m
             =(180 * 100) cm                  (1m=100cm)
             =18000 cm
Breadth = 5m
              =(5 * 100) cm                     (1m=100cm)
              =500 cm
Area= L * B
        = 18000 * 500
        = 9000000 cm(Square)

For a brick

Length    =20cm
Breadth  =15cm
Area       = L * B
               =20 * 15
               =300cm(Square)

Number of bricks required = Area of lane/ Area of a Brick
                                          =9000000/300
                                          =30000
Cost of 1 thousand bricks = Rupees 750
Cost of 30 thousand bricks = Rupees 750 * 30 Thousand
                                           = Rupees 22500

Hence, Cost of paving the lane= Rupees 2,25,000
