This question can be easily solved by the concept of Area.

Note:- Here both the lane and bricks are in the shape of a rectangle.

For lane:-

Length=150 m

Breadth=9 m

So, its area=L×B

=150×9

=1350 m²

For bricks:-

Breadth=0.5 cm=0.005 m

Length=7.5 cm=0.075 m

So, its area=L×B=0.005×0.075=3/8000 m²

So, the number of tiles required=Total area of the lane/Total area of a brick

=1350÷3/8000

=3600000
