Answer:

ANSWER

GIVEN :

CIRCUMFERENCE = 870 M

TO FIND :

AREA REQUIRED FOR THE PLANETARIUM .

PROOF :

circumference = 2r\pi \\ 870 = 44 \div 7 \times r \\ r = 870 \times 7 \div 44 \\ r = 318.40 \: m

THEREFORE ;

area \:  = \pi {r}^{2}  \\  = 3.14 \times  {318.40}^{2}  \\  = 60145.34 \:  {m}^{2}
