weight of water displaced = weight of iceberg + stone
density of water= mass/volume
mass=density x volume
so
density of water x volume= weight of iceberg + stone
1020 x v = m + 300
1020 v = 300 + mass of ice berg
1020 v - 300 = mass of ice berg
density of ice berg = mass/volume
volume= mass / density
mass of ice berg = 1020(mass/density) - 300
m = 1020 x m/920-300
m -1020(m/920)= -300
m=2777.8 kg
density of water= mass/volume
mass=density x volume
so
density of water x volume= weight of iceberg + stone
1020 x v = m + 300
1020 v = 300 + mass of ice berg
1020 v - 300 = mass of ice berg
density of ice berg = mass/volume
volume= mass / density
mass of ice berg = 1020(mass/density) - 300
m = 1020 x m/920-300
m -1020(m/920)= -300
m=2777.8 kg
