A lawn is 80 m long and 60 m wide. There is a swimming pool of length 20 m by 6 m in this lawn. What will be the cost of putting grass in the remaining part of the lawn at Rs. 30 per square meter?

area of the lawn = length * breadth
=80*60
= 4800 m square unit

area of swimming pool = length* breadth
= 20*6
= 120 m square unit

remaining part of the lawn = 4800-120
= 4680 m square unit

cost of putting grass in the remaining part of the lawn at Rs. 30 per square metre =
4680 * 30
= 140400 Rs
