<b>Let Radius be R</b>

Volume = (4/3)*pie*R^3

New Radius = R/2

Volume of new sphere =(4/3)*pie*(R/2)^3 = 8 * [(4/3)*pie*R^3]

\bold{therefore\: 8 \:balls \:are \:formed :)}
