A leader is placed against a wall in such a way that it's foot is at distance of 9m from the wall and it's top reaches a window 12m above the ground in the wall find the length of the ledder. ​

Hey mate...

here's the answer...

Height of wall = 12m

Distance from the ladder to wall = 9m

(12)^2 + (9)^2 = (x)^2

144 + 81 = (x)^2

225 = x^2

15 = x

Height of ladder

= 15 m

Solution :

Height of the wall = 12 m

Distance of the wall from the ladder = 9 m

=》12^2 + 9^2 = x^2

=》144 + 81 = x^2

=》225 = x^2

=》x = 15

Therefore The length of the ladder is 15m .
