Answers
Answer:
When the environment changes, some plants and animals survive and reproduce, and others die or move to new locations. All organisms cause changes in the environment where they live. Some of these changes are detrimental to the organism or other organisms, whereas others are beneficial.
Explanation:
Environmental factors include temperature, food, pollutants, population density, sound, light, and parasites. Climate change also alters the life cycles of plants and animals. For example, as temperatures get warmer, many plants are starting to grow and bloom earlier in the spring and survive longer into the fall. Some animals are waking from hibernation sooner or migrating at different times, too.
Effect of environment in the life cycle of organisms:
- Light penetration e.g. plankton grows better in the upper layers of water due to higher light intensity.
- Currents transport organisms.
- Wave action moves and damages organisms.
- Salt content results in organisms adapting to freshwater or saltwater.
- Oxygen concentration is lower.
Relation between organism and environment
They constantly cause pollution, overpopulation that leads to resource depletion, deforestation, burning of fossil fuels which impact the air, and species extinction by destroying other natural habitats for their own needs.
