Yellow lemonade = x

Pink lemonade = 50% more than yellow.

Pink = 1.5x

The total revenue is :

1.5x + x = 2.5x

The fraction of yellow lemonade %

X/2.5x = 10/25

= 2/5

Answer:

Fraction =  \frac{2}{3(x-1)}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the price of Yellow lemonade = a

Then price of pink lemonade = 1.5a

Let the total no. of cups sold on certain day = C

Then, revenue form Yellow lemonade = \frac{1}{x}×C×a

Revenue from Pink lemonade = 1-\frac{1}{x}×C×(1.5)a

Fraction of total revenue for the sales of yellow lemonade = \frac{Revenue from yellow lemonade}{Total revenue}

         = \frac{\frac{C \times a}{x} }{\frac{C(x-1) \times a}{x} }

         = \frac{1}{1.5(x-1)}

         = \frac{2}{3(x-1)}
