let the breadth be x.
and the length is x+7.
from the question,
perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
50=2(x+7+x)
50=2(2x+7)
50=4x+14
50-14=4x
4x=36
x=36/4
x=9
breadth=9m
length=x+7
=9+7
=16m

heya

lets, lenght = x+7
Breadth = x

peri. of rectangle =2(l+b)
hence,
50=2((x+7)+x)
50= 2(2x+7)
50= 4x+14. [2×2x+7×2=4x+14]
50-14=4x
4x= 36 => x=34/6 => x=9.

now,
Length = x+7
Breadth = 9

7x+9
x= 9+7
x = 16m.

therefore, breadth is 9m & lenght is 16m.

thank you, i hope this helps you.
