Dear Devika,
Subject: Summer vacation at my grandparents' house
This summer, I went to stay with my grandparents for a month. I can't tell you what an experience it was. The place they are staying at is a village in Kerala and it was such a pleasant change from the kind of urban life I was exposed to in Bangalore. My days were so connected with nature.
Every morning, I would go out to walk with my grandmother and she would tell me little snippets about each place that we passed on the way. On returning she would cook me hot homemade food, specials of Kerala, and the three of us would eat together. In the evenings, my grandfather would pick jasmine flowers that would have bloomed in the garden and my granny would make garlands out of it.
It was such an amazing experience that I was a little reluctant to leave in the end. I hope I can go back soon.

Dear Anmol:
I hope this letter finds you in great health and soaring jubilant spirits. By the time this letter reaches you, you must be enjoying your vacation. Well, I had great fun at my grandparents' place during my vacation. I was dying to go to my grandparents’ village in Himachal Pradesh. It is a sylvan spot of elysian beauty.
The rustic villa is on the top of the hill. The temperature is pleasantly cool. All around are terraced fields where pure natural vegetables grow. Beyond the fields are natural forests. The source of water is a stream. Every morning I went to the stream to fetch pure water for drinking and cooking. I had my bath in the stream everyday!
My granny cooked the most scrumptious dishes for me as long as I stayed there. I also assisted my granny in the fields and in handling the cows. I just loved to be in that heavenly hamlet. The rest is fine. Do share with me how you spent your vacation. Looking forward to hearing from you. Parnam to uncle and auntie.
Your loving friend,
Sulabh
