Dear Mr. or Mrs. President,
Our country has endured more sophisticated problems than anyone could ever imagine, like 9/11 or even the Civil War when we were fighting our own people to have equality.
Another huge problem that faces the United States is the recycling of paper. Did you know that the average Sunday newspaper requires 500,000 trees to be cut down in order to produce it?(recycling-revolution.com) Most people when they are done reading the paper just throw it away as well. By recycling the newspapers people have already read, we could potentially save 75,000 trees, which averages out to 250,000,000 trees being saved each year! (recycling-revolution.com) Just by doing this minor thing, we could make a huge impact on the world and make it a “more green” place.
