Dear mom and dad,
I hope this letter finds you happy, because what you are going to read will surely make you cross. Just so you know, I am writing this letter to scold you for scolding me over and over again.
You both reprimand me for unfair reasons. Last to last week, my sister accused me of eating all the ice creams when I had not even seen one! You did not listen to me but were kind enough to ban all my junk food for a whole week. And what about that time when I was given a mouthful for not completing a little math homework? You eavesdropped on me during my notebook inspection. And the day you gave me a big lecture for crying about the wall that cut a gash through my index finger, I could have actually died!
I don't like to be scolded, especially by you, mom and dad. If you don't scold me for teensy-weensy things, I promise to be an obedient child, which I am right now too.
Yours lovingly
Diana
