Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to express the difficulties caused by stray dogs in our locality. Ours is a newly developed colony situated on the outskirts of the city.
Stray dogs are a great threat to pedestrians and vehicle drivers even in the heart of the city. In the city area the dairy owners let loose their domestic animals to graze on the domestic waste and garbage. Many a time the life of citizens is endangered on account of accidents caused by these animals. Stray dogs are ubiquitous in every street and colony of the city.
On the city one may report matter to the municipal authorities but in this case the resident are in a fix about whom they should approach with complaint about the menace of stray dogs.
We hope that the authorities concerned would look into the matter and take immediate steps to solve the problems of the residents.
