Dear Sam :
I hope this letter finds you in fine fettle. I also hope you must have acclimatized to the new environment. I am writing to you to tell you about our annual day function. As you already know the function was to be held on January 2, 2020 , it happened as per the schedule. I participated in an English play which received exuberant applause.
The auditorium was packed to capacity. Mr. Abraham, the President was the chief-guest. There was no performance that was not liked. The chief guest applauded the school management for such a grand and perfect programme. I will send you the pictures, the moment I get them. The rest is fine. I am missing you a lot. Give regards to uncle and aunt. Do reply soon!
