of biographies to fictions to academic books is 4:7:9. The librarian adds 25 biographies, 50
fictions and 100 academic books to the library during an academic year. What is the new ratio of
biographies to fictions to the academic books?​

ANSWER= 22:9:15

EXPLANATION: Let the ratio be 4x:7x:9x

therefore, 4x+9x+7x=1000

20x=1000

x=50

no of biographies=4x+25=225

no of fictions=7x+25=375

no of academic books=9x+100=550

after adding the books total no. of books=550+225+375=1200

Now, ratio =550/225/375=22:9:15
