And body has different mass one more than the other,so here the particle having more mass will have less velocity to get equal momentum in compare to light one.Since K.E ia equal to half m×v×v. momentum is product of mass and velocity.
if mass is less than velocity would be high of that body due to same linear momentum and the body with more mass will have less velocity.
so as we know kinetic energy = 1/2 × m × v^2
so the body having less mass would have more kinetic energy than body with more mass.
