by using the formula,

angle of prism + angle of deviation= 2. angle of incidence

=> a + d=2.i

=>a= 2i-d

=>a=2 x 40 - 30

=> a = 50

now, angle of refraction is given by,

r\ =\ \dfrac{a}{2}

=>\ r\ =\ \dfrac{50}{2}

=>\ r\ =\ 25^o

Hence, angle of prism is 50 and angle of refraction is 25.
