A line passes through (1,1) on which the line gets devided into ratio 3:4 . find the equation?

There seems to be some data missing in the given question.

A (1, 1)  is given.   Let the slope of the line be  m.
Then     y = m x + k
             1 = m +  k          
So equation of line :    y = m x + 1 - m

In order that we find  m,  we need at least one end point of the given line segment BC, which is divided by A (1, 1) in ratio 3 : 4.

   If B (a,  m a + 1 - m)  is one end point  then  we can find the other end point  in terms of  a and  m  only.  We cannot determine the equation uniquely with out additional information.
