Here, we have point A (-1,1)
Since, the abcissae is negative and the ordinate is positive, thus the point is located in the 2nd quadrant.

We have point B(2,2)
Since, both abcissae and ordinate both are positive, so the point lies in the 1st quadrant.

As per the question, the line passes from A to B, thus the line goes from 2nd quadrant to the 1st quadrant.

Hence, the line passes from 2nd quadrant to 1st quadrant.
