A liquid of refractive index n is filled in a tank. A plane mirror is kept at the bottom of the tank. A point like object (P) is kept at a height h from the mirror on the liquid surface. An observer observes the object and its image in the vertically downward direction from top. How much distance will observer note between P and its image ?(A) 2n•h
(B) 2h/n
(C) 2h/(n —1)

The plane mirror is placed at the bottom of tank and containing a liquid by placing refractive index by mu.

This is initiated by P value and object is taking place at a height h above the mirror.

An observer O vertically denotes P outside and liquid to see its image in the mirror range.

There is apparent distance between two points will be 2h/ (n-1).
