Given that , the mass of 600 kg , is lifted up 60 m in 6 min . We know that , the rate of doing work is called Power.

  • Here Firstly we need to calculate the work done . Work done is equal to the dot product of Force añd displacement .

  • Secondly we need to convert the time given into min into SI unit . The time here is 6min which equals to (6)(60s) = 360s .

  • Here the angle between the force and Displacement is 0°. As they both are in upwards direction .

\sf\dashrightarrow Work = F.s \\\\\sf\dashrightarrow Work = (mg) .(s) \\\\\sf\dashrightarrow Work = ( 600kg\times 10m/s^2) . (60m) \times cos0^{\circ}\\\\\sf\dashrightarrow Work = 6000 N \times 60m \\\\\sf\dashrightarrow \boxed{\pink{\sf Work = 3,60,000\ J }}

\rule{200}2

 \sf\dashrightarrow Power = \dfrac{Work}{Time}\\\\\sf\dashrightarrow Power =\dfrac{36\times 10^4 J }{360s} \\\\\sf\dashrightarrow\boxed{\pink{\sf Power = 10^3 \ Watt }}
