T-mg = ma ( by free body diagram)

T =ma + mg

=m(a+g)

s= ut + 1/2 at^2

5= (0*2) + 1/2 * a* 4

a= 5/2 = 2.5

T = 20 ( 2.5 + 10) taking g= 10

T = 20 * 12.5 = 250 N
