A log of wood of dimensions 48 cm × 36 cm × 20 cm is converted into some cubes each having side 4 cm consider that there is no wastage. find the number of cubes thus obtained​

Area of wood = 48× 36 × 20

                        = 34560 cm²

Area of each cube = 4×4

                               = 16cm²

Number of cubes that can be obtained = \frac{34560}{16}

                                                                 = 2160 cubes
