A long potentiometer wire is having a

constant potential gradient along its length. The

null points

for two primary cells of emf Ɛ1 and Ɛ2 are found

to be at distances 120 cm and 300 cm fom one

end of the wire. Find Ɛ1 / Ɛ2 and the position of

null point for the cell Ɛ1. ​
