⇒ Distance covered be = x km

⇒ For first subsequent distance (x - 1) km fare = 5(x - 1)

According to the given condition we get,

⇒ y = 8 + 5 (x - 1)

⇒ y = 8 + 5x - 5

⇒ y = 5x + 3

⇒ The coordinates of the following linear equation will be :-

1. x = 0, y = 3 (0,3)

2. x = 1, y = 8 (1,8)

3. x = 2, y = 13 (2,13)

4. x = 3, y = 18 (3,18)
