A lot of 20 bulbs cotain 4 defective ones.One bulb is drawn at random from the lot. What is the probalility that this bulb is good

here total bulbs = 20
defective bulb = 4
so, non defective bulb = total - defective
= 20- 4
= 16
here, let E be getting a good bulb.
then, P(E) = favorable event / total event.
=number of good bulb / total bulb
= 16 / 20
4 / 5
so, probability of getting a good bulb is 4/5
