A machin gun of mass 10kg fires 20gm bullets at the rate of 10 bullets per second with speed of 500m/s what force is require to hold the gun in position

Force=change in momentum
M1=10kg
M2=20gm=1/500
no. of bullets firing is 10 bullets / sec.
v=500m/s

force will be

Force=10×1/50×500=100N

Force required = rate of change in momentum of the gun

F = (20/1000) * 10 * 500 = 100 N
