Answer:

3 bullets per second

Explanation:

The whole of the problem comes under one formula F = nmv

n is the number of bullets per second

m is the mass of each bullet

v is its velocity

144 = n×0.04×1200

You'd get n as 3.

\Large{\underline{\bf{Given:}}}

☞ Mass of bullet = 40g → 0.04kg

☞ Velocity 'v' = 1200m/s

☞ Maximum Force = 144N

\Large{\underline{\bf{To\;Find:}}}

☞ Number of bullets fired for a second.

\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{Solution:}}}}

Let, Number of bullets per second be 'n'

\boxed{\sf{F × ∆t = ∆P}}

\boxed{\sf{F = \frac{∆P}{∆t}}}

As, P = mv

→\;{\tt{F = \frac{n∆P}{∆t}}}

→\;{\tt{n = \frac{144}{0.04×1200}}}

→\;{\tt{n = \frac{144}{4×12}}}

➝\;{\bf{n = 3}}

Number of bullets per second ◕➜ \Large{\red{\mathfrak{3}}}
