A machine gun mounted on a 2000kg car , on a horizontal frictionless fires 10 bullets per second. If the mass of each bullet is 10g and the velocity of each bullet is 500m/s , then the acceleration of the car will be ?
please answer asap I have a paper tomorrow

Mass of the car=2000kgs.

Mass of bullet   =10 grams

Velocity of bullet =500m/s

Momentum of each bullet=0.01*500

                                      Pb=5kg m/s

        Force on the car=n*Pb

                                    ⇒50kgm/s²   =50N.

Acceleration of the car=50/2000=1/40

                                        ⇒0.025m/sec².
