Price of Parts are A= 3000  & B = 1000  Rs Machine is manufactured by assembling two parts A and B

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Cost of Part A  = A

& Cost of Part B  = B

Cost of Manufacturing Machine = A + B

price of part A increases by 10% and that of part decreases by 10%

and  cost of manufacturing the machine increases by 5%

=> A + (10/100)A  + B - (10/100)B  = (A+B) + (5/100)(A + B)

=> 1.1A + 0.9B  = 1.05A + 1.05B

=> 0.5A = 0.15B

=> A = 3B

price of part A decreases by 10% and that of part B increases by 10%, the cost decreases by Rs 200

=> (10/100)A  -  (10/100)B = 200

=> 0.1A - 0.1B = 200

=> A - B = 2000

=> 3B - B = 2000

=> 2B = 2000

=> B = 1000

A = 3B = 3000

Price of Parts are  3000  & 1000  Rs
