The total number of cards the magician has = 52

The Number of black cards = 26

The Number of red cards = 26

The Number of special cards = 4 and 2 of the special cards are red.

The number of cards that are red or special = 26 +4 -2 = 28

The probability that the card selected by the magician is special or red = 28/52 = 7/13
