Answer:

The velocity of the particle (-75i+100j) m/s

Explanation:

According to the problem ,

Let the magnetic field  exerts a force force on the particle which has the charge 1 × 10^(–9)C.

Now as the particle is going in XY plane,

Therefore, along with X axis,

f= qV(y)m

V(y)= f/qm

      = 4x10^(-10)/1x 10^(-9) x 4 x 10^(-3)

      = 100 m/s

Therefore, along y axis

f= qV(x)m

V(x)= f/qm

       = 3x10^(-10)/1x 10^(-9) x 4 x 10^(-3)

        = 75 m/s

Velocity(V) = (-75i+100j)m/s
