Step-by-step explanation:

(M+B)24 is Total Work.

=> (M+B)24 = (M+B)19+ (M)5

[Because now total work is completed in 25 days (Man alone does the work for last 5 days, therefore remaining work done by M+B for 20 days).]

By solving above equation:

=> M/B = 4/1 (Efficiency of M and B)

The boy will take to complete the work alone:

=> (M+B)24 = (B)D

=> (4+1)24 = (120)D

=> D = 120

Answer:

\huge\underline\bold {Answer:}

(Man + boy)'s one days' work = 1/24

(Man + boy)'s 20 days' work = 20/24

= 5/6

Remaning 1/6 of the work is done by the man alone can do 1/30 of the work in 1 day.

Therefore Boy's one days' work

= 1/24 – 1/30

= 1/120

Therefore Boy would take 120 days to complete the work.
