Answer:

Let A work for x days before B joins him

So Total no of days A works = x+6 days

B works for 6 days

Total work done by both in 6 days = 6/24+ 6/36 = 1/4 +1/6= 5/12

Work remaining = 7/12

A will finish 7/12 of the work in 7/12 *24 = 14 days

Answer B joins after 14 days
