total money $1000.. ratio 1:4 so.. money of woman is $800.. ratio 2:1:1.. so the daughter must get $200..

prachiptthakk: Write the full answer
namansghsuzueh: first of all that would not be 2:1:1.. may be its 2:1
namansghsuzueh: $1000 is diveded into 4:1.. so the wife will get 200$ .. and she shares 2:1.. her daughter can get 66.66$.. but i think that the question if wrong so please give me the right question
prachiptthakk: But it is 2:1:1

LET THE COEFFICIENT OF RATIOS BE X.

SO,

X + 4X = $1000

5X = $1000

X = $200

MAN = $200 & WOMAN = $800

LET THE COEFFICIENT OF 2ND RATIOS BE Y.

THEN,

2Y + Y + Y = $800

4Y = $800

Y = $200

HE DAUGHTERS RECIEVES $200 EACH.
