A man bought 2 liters of petrol , he used 12 3/4 of petrol in his car and 3 2/5 in his bike . How much petrol was left with him?

Please explain me well I’m weak in math

Answer:

12 3/4=51/4

3 2/5=17/5

therefore, 51/4+17/5=

LCM=20(of 4&5)

51×5/4×5+17×4/5×4=255/20+68/20

=323/20

is the petrol he use out of 2 l

then 2/1= 40/
