SOLUTION

let ,the number of oranges that he bought is X pcs......where X>0

  • now 13%are rotten...

therefore the number of good oranges

 = x - x \times  \frac{13}{100}  \\  =  \frac{(100 - 13)x}{100}  \\  =  \frac{87x}{100}

  • now 75% are donated to the charity.....

number of ORANGES left

 =  \frac{87x}{100} (1 -  \frac{75}{100}  ) \\  =  \frac{87 \times 25 \times x}{100 \times 100}  \\  =  \frac{87x}{400}  \\ nowthe \: number \: of \: oranges \: lefted \: is \: 522 \\   therefore \\  \\  \frac{87x}{400} = 522 \\ x =  \frac{522 \times 400}{87}  \\ x = 2400

ANSWER

SO HE HAS BOUGHT 2400 PCS OF ORANGES.......
