Solution :-

→ Marked price (MP) of article = Rs.400

→ Discount 1 = 20%

so,

→ SP after first discount = MP * (100 - discount %)/100 = (400 * 80)/100 = Rs.320

now,

→ SP after first discount = Rs.320

→ Discount 2 = X %

then,

→ SP after second discount = Rs. [320 * (100 - X)]/100

A/q,

→ [320 * (100 - X)]/100 = 192

→ 320 * (100 - X) = 19200

→ 100 - X = 60

→ X = 100 - 60

→ X = 40 % (Ans.)

Hence, value of X is equal to 40 % .
