A man bought an article for rs 25 and sold it to for rs 40
so profit = 40-25 = rs 15
profit percentage = (15/40)×100 = 37.5 %
Another man bought an article for rs 50 and sold it for rs 65
so profit = 65-50= rs 15
Profit percentage = (15/50)×100 = 30%
So first man's rate of profit is greater by (37.5-30)% = 7.5% .Hope it helps you ;)
