A man bought apples at the rate & for Rs. 34 & sold them at the rate of 12 for Rs. 57. How many apples should be sold to earn a net profit of Rs.45?

Answer:

Buying price per Apple=34/8=17/4 Rs

Selling price per Apple=57/12=19/4Rs

Profit per apple=Selling price-Buying price

Profit= 19/4-17/4

=1/2

apples should be sold to earn a net profit of Rs 45

45= x × 1/2

x=2×45

x=90
