A man bought some eggs at ₹18 per dozen and equal number at ₹20 per dozen .he mixed them and sold them at rs 23.75 per dozen. Find his gain percent

\huge{\text{\underline{Solution:-}}}

Let the cost of the one dozen of eggs brought by man be ₹18

Let the cost of the another dozen of eggs brought by man be ₹20

Total cost = 20 + 18 = ₹38

Total eggs = 2 dozen

Selling price = 23.75 per dozen

So total selling price = 23.75 × 2 = ₹47.5

Profit = 47.5 - 38 = ₹9.5

\large{\boxed{\tt{= 9.5}}}

Therefore,

Profit percentage = 9.5 × 100 / 38

= 950 / 38

\large{\boxed{\tt{= 25}}}

Hence the answer is 25%
