Answer:

Loss ℅ is 8.33℅.

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost price(C.P) of 5 shirts = Rs. 600

Therefore, C.P of 1 shirt = 600/5 = Rs.120

Selling price( S.P) of 4 shirts= Rs.440

Therefore, S.P of 1 shirt= 440/4 =Rs. 110

Since C.P of 1 shirt is greater than the S.P, there is a loss

Loss= C.P- S.P = 120-110 = Rs.10

So, loss% =( Loss/C.P )× 100 =( 10/120)× 100 = 8.33℅ .
