a man completes 30 km of a journey at 6 km/h and the remaining 40 km of the journey in 5 h.find the average speed for the whole journey

Let the average speed be x
✋Total dist.=70 km
So avg. S=> x =(Sum of speed )÷ 2
=(6 + 8)/2
= 7.0 km/h

average speed = (40+30)/(5+5)= 70/10= 7 km/hr... ans
